As many of you know, we are using Flocknote to help you stay aware of important upcoming events. The system sends a text to your phone. We are now also using it as our emergency notification system for office closings, event cancellations, or any other news related to sudden changes or your safety.
As a courtesy to you, if you have already joined our Flocknote system, we recently signed you up for the emergency alerts. If you haven’t joined yet, or you are not sure, please go ahead and text the phrase BSCalerts to the number 84576. (84576 is not a full phone number; that’s okay.) You are then signed up. You are able to unsubscribe at any time by texting STOP to the same number or in reply to an alert that you receive.
We encourage all staff and volunteers of the parish to stay enrolled in the Emergency Alert System. We will continue to post this kind of news on our social media accounts and website as well.
