The Serving Our Neighbors Fund aims to assist Detroit-area individuals and families by providing essential financial resources, promoting dignity and hope, and fostering a spirit of Christian charity.
Applicants for assistance meet with a committee member to determine needs and outcomes. We do not give cash directly, but we always give a listening ear and prayers, and sometimes we are able to help with rent, utilities, down payments, transportation, or similar needs.
To our knowledge, we are the only urban Detroit group assisting folks in this manner. Every contribution makes a life-changing difference.
