Hello Friends in Christ, I pray this bulletin article finds you well! This week, I’d like to take a couple of minutes to share with you about the upcoming transition I will be making from our Cluster to Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
First, it has been a great blessing and joy to be with you all! I have loved getting to know you and worshipping God with you all. I have learned much from you and you have helped to prepare me for the next leg of my journey with Jesus.
At the end of June 2018, I’ll be moving to Corpus Christi parish in Detroit and serving as an associate pastor for a year with Fr. Don Archambault. Then, at the end of June 2019, I’ll make the transition to becoming the administrator at Corpus Christ as Fr. Don moves on to a new phase of ministry as a senior clergy in the Archdiocese. This is a move that Fr. Don has planned for and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have a smooth transition with him as a mentor.
Here at the Cluster, this community will be blessed to have a full-time associate pastor coming in, which will be a great help to Fr. J.J., the staff, and the community at large. To be assigned to the Cathedral-Moses Cluster is a wonderful blessing and I’m excited for whoever will receive this opportunity next. They’ll be tremendously blessed by your love and kindness, about which I can not say enough!
Friends, please know of my prayers for all of us in these upcoming times of transition. May we all seek to fall more in love with Jesus each passing day, letting His love animate our lives through the Holy Spirit. God bless you abundantly, and thank you for praying for me! Oh—and remember to keep praying for our RCIA friends:
Bernard, Deborah, Krysta, Demetria, Terry, and Jimmy!
