NPM St. Cecilia Sing
Hear the Cathedral resound with glorious singing! Ten choirs and ensembles from across the Archdiocese come together to present beautiful sacred music o varied styles and cultures. Together with the choirs, the audience is invited to join in singing hymns and antiphons for the feast of St. Cecilia, the patron of music. Free-will offerings accepted.

The Cathedral Chorale offers the Church’s ancient evening prayer with chants, psalms, and hymns. As the days grow darker, come prepare for Christmas with candlelight, reflection, peace, and grace. Sunday, December 1 at 4 PM. Free-will offerings accepted.

The Archdiocesan Chorus, Vanguard Voices, an orchestra, and several soloists perform one of Metro Detroit’s great Christmas pageants. Written by Professor Steven Errante as a teenager, the festival incorporates favorite Christmas carols in a rich tapestry of musical joy. Come ready to sing along! Saturday, December 7, 7:30 PM. Join several children’s choirs from across Southeast Michigan to celebrate the season of joy! Each choir will sing its favorite holiday selections. All are invited to join the children and the merry organ to sing timeless Christmas carols. Sunday, December 15, 4 PM. Free-will offerings accepted.

This cutting-edge vocal ensemble performs an engaging and eclectic vocal concert highlighting music of Black and Latinx composers. Led by founding conductor Dr. Eugene Rogers, EXIGENCE is comprised of vocal artists of color who recognize the power of community and expression through choral music. Friday, February 7, 8 PM.
