Organ, Vocal, and Brass Music of Notre Dame de Paris! The choir of St. Paul Episcopal Cathedral and the Archdiocesan Choir join to present music of the organists of one of the world's great cathedrals.  Major choral works include Lois Vierne's Solemn Mass and Olivier Latry's Salve Regina. Join us for a significant and enlightening presentation as Kate Hennessy, the grandchild of Dorothy Day,  will share with us some of the key moments, struggles, commitments and dedications of her grandmother, Dorothy Day, who in her life railed against being referred to as a saint. Dorothy Day (1897- 1980) was a prominent Catholic, writer, social activist, and co-founder of the Catholic Worker movement dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor. Hear the Cathedral resound with glorious singing!  Ten choirs and ensembles from across the Archdiocese come together to present beautiful sacred music of varied styles and cultures. Together with the choirs, the audience is invited to join in singing hymns and antiphons for the feast of St. Cecilia, the patron of music.  Presented by the National Association of Pastoral Musicians. Detroit Children’s Choir Christmas Festival

Join several children’s choirs from across Southeast Michigan to celebrate the season of joy! Each choir will sing its favorite holiday selections.
